We live in Michigan and I have purchased this twice. Once in the 3-6 month size and again in 12-18 month. It is great for chilly days when it’s not freezing cold. It’s also nice in the car seat as it is not bulky or padded so it’s still safe. On colder days, I sometimes put this on my daughter and then cover her with a fleece poncho for extra warmth and safety in the car seat.My daughter is a little small but these run a bit big. Not too big to wear, though. I just rolled up the sleeve once or twice and it was great. It also meant we got a lot of use out it because I could roll the sleeves down as she grew. She wore the 3-6 month size until about 9 months.I researched & read a few reviews about this item before deciding to purchase it. A lot of parents were saying the same thing about their children's wrists tightly fitting through the sleeves opening. I decided to take a chance since I planned on purchasing a larger size, hoping it'll be able to be worn in the Fall. I don't have the sleeve opening issue at all nor do I for see it happening as my daughter grows. There's plenty of room for growth & o don't have any issues folding the sleeves opening for her hands now. I'm not saying that something can't happen as she grows but I'd be shocked if it did.Living on the West Coast, this is perfect for a chilly Spring day. It's not too great for a rainy day since it doesn't have a hood, which you clearly know prior to purchasing, but it's perfect for warmth. This not having a hood didn't bother me since she has a windbreaker for slightly warmer days.Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket. I'd purchase this item again & recommend it to any of my friends with little ones.This was such a great value! I highly recommend them! We live where it gets pretty cold in the winter this jacket is our carseat coat cause it is still safe with a 5 point harness. I used the same type for my son and loved so I got one for our baby girl! It keeps them plenty warm from the walk from the car to the store! My daughter is 6 months old and wears 3-6months clothes I got her a 6 to 12 for growing roomPerfect, perfect, perfect. We always get Columbia fleeces for our kiddos (baby, toddler, little kid) because we know the quality is great! I used to be all about the fancy names but ever since our first baby was gifted a Columbia fleece jacket, we were hooked! It is such great value for a high quality product. They do a wonderful job keeping our kiddos toasty in our DC falls and even somewhat mild winters! I got my 15 month old an 18-24 month size so that it will last through the fall and winter - it fits her quite nicely (although it is a little big, as expected for the size difference). Lovely rich lavender color. Only complaint is the fleece around the wrists is just a bit snug, but otherwise this is a perfect 10!This jacket fits perfectly, it is so soft and warm as well. Very easy to clean, I have never had it stain even with it being white! Great to wear a lone if its cool but not too cold. Also goes great under a heavy jacket for an extra layer. No complaints about this purchase. Will definitely be buying more in the future.One of the best clothing purchases we've made for the baby. Warm but not too warm. Doesn't feel itchy and hasn't caused any chaffing or rashes. Not having a hood is clutch, as she can wear it on her arms in the carseat without a hood being in her face.I live in a warmer coastal climate so a heavy coat isn’t necessary. This jacket is perfect for our climate! I bought it a bit large so that it is easier to put on and the sleeves cover my daughter’s hands which makes the hassle of gloves irrelevant. Wouldn’t fold over sleeve caps be a great idea? The jacket zipper is easy to zip up and take off. This is not cheap but the money is well spent on an item that will last a while. Buy larger so your kid grows into it!It is so soft, my daughter is to small to wear it right now but in a couple months she will grow into it!
