They are similar to my old pair. Very comfortable.I wear size seven but always purchase size 8 so they fit loose. At first I purchased size 8 but the front strap was way too short. I've never had sandals with such short front straps. So I ordered size 9 and they fit better but the front strap is barely long enough. I surprised these expensive Columbia sandals have this poor design.dislike the too short velcro straps over the toes. Dislike the materials used as the are not up to the quality of those of a few years ago.I bought these to replace a pair of an older style that had deteriorated. These are much more comfortable, due to the built in arch support.I've used these sandals for almost six months on my trips to the beach and vacations and I'm happy with the product. Good quality and feel soft on my feetWe are talking about men's sandals and a man's foot.As most other reviewers mentioned, the sizing is less than the standard by at least one size. I like my sandals to be a bit bigger than the foot, so my toe is protected. In this case, with my standard 9.5 US I bought 11 US and ended with about 0.7 cm (0.28") from the toe to the edge of the sole.Probably more of a concern is that my foot is narrow, and yet I had to adjust the front Velcro strap so that the Velcro starts at the buckle. It's fine for me, but someone with a wide foot might not be able to make the Velcro hold as the strap will be too short.I cannot comment on durability, just got the sandals and they would probably have to wait till spring for testing.At the moment, I am satisfied with the sandals.These sandals are well made, and they look good. They are also lightweight and very practical, easy to wash. The foot bed is soft, perhaps a little too soft to my taste, but this is something other people may actually like. There are 2 caveats, though. First, these sandals are a full size smaller than what they are supposed to be. I usually wear size 11, but I bought size 12, and the fit is perfect - anything smaller would be too short. So, my advice is to buy one size larger than the shoes you normally wear. Second, whereas the hill and the bridge straps appear to be comfortable, the toe area strap does not. It did not feel pleasant as I tried the sandals on, and I am afraid that it will give me a blister if walking a distance.I bought a pair only 3 months ago and they are already worn, with the heel cushioning in particular deformed, and lots of damage to the front and rear soles. One thing I like is they do work well even underwater, in creekbeds, etc.Stay away from these, and buy the Nike ACG Air Deschutz instead. They don't cost a lot more and are far more comfortable and durable.Good:* Came on time* Gets the job done as sandalsImprovable:* These sandals with size UK14 are 0.5 cm shorter than the ones UK14 I bought 2 years ago. My previous Columbia sandals adopted quickerThis replaced a unit I purchased in the US, had them for years, lasted and wore very well. I am pleased with the product.I had to return these unfortunately as they were too narrow and spongy for me compared to the Columbia Techsun Vent sandal which I usually wear. Returning the item was very straight forward thanks to Amazon.Returned immediately for a refund. They are both too long & way too narrow at the same time. I normally take a 10.5 in shoes, so I ordered an 11 in these. They were approx. an inch too long & I could have lived with that, but they scrunched al my toes & that's with the strap barely on the Velcro. Super uncomfortable & impractical. I've never seen a sandal as poorly designed as these. Not sure who's feet these will fit, but they definitely don't fit me at all. Also they look & seem super cheap & flimsy for the price. There are way better options here at a cheaper price. I bought the one's from ZiiTop black in a size 10, & they are a perfect fit, infinitely more comfortable, & better constructed. Night & day between the 2.Llevo años usando las Columbia, en diversos modelos. Las uso a diario, como zapatillas para casa y en el verano para la playa. Echo de menos algunos modelos que, incomprensiblemente, como sucede con otras marcas, van retirando del mercado a pesar de su éxito de ventas. A veces no se sabe si las mentes brillantes de estas empresas quieren atraer nuevo clientes arriesgándose a perder aquellos que mantienen la fidelidad con la marca. Esperemos que no sigan eliminando del mercado los modelos existentes, sustituyéndolos casi siempre por otros menos buenos.
