Please, dear Columbia, make these in more solid colors!!!(Green?!?!) I’m not a palm tree gal, but I love the solids! The red is lovely (not fire engine hot), the navy and black are easily dressed up or down and very attractive. The pantry line is a bit more noticeable in the darker aqua. The arm hole is slightly large, but this dress IS incredibly cool and dries in s FLASH! Great for travel. Amazing for hot weather! I purchased the XL to accommodate my tummy—it’s a flattering style and falls nicely.I love these dresses so much. I bought three different patterns. They are super-cool in hot weather, and they look great!They are designed for a smaller bust, but actually still work ok if you have a larger cup-size! You'll just get a bit of a 'cowl neck' effect and the seam will sit higher on your bust than it's intended to, but it actually doesn't look bad at all. A surprisingly versatile design!I have several of these Columbia dresses. They are so perfect to just throw on after a bike ride after a day at the beach or to run errands. They have so many options for cute patterns, and the dress itself is very flattering.I was just looking for a dress to wear in extreme heat, and this had good reviews so I gave it a shot with Prime Wardrobe. It's actually VERY comfortable and surprisingly flattering, and really does keep you cool. The material is thin without being clingy or sheer, and it's very quick-drying. I can wear a regular bra with it, too, which I prefer. Unless you see the small logo in the shoulder area, you wouldn't guess this is made from a sporty material. It's a little on the pricy side for what it is but I'll probably buy more if more patterns I like become available in my size.Fit is flattering, fabric is good quality & stretchy, not sheer. No need for a slip or slip shorts if you dont like to wear them (or forget to). Easy to wash and wear. Everything about this dress is great except a small tag is printed on the outside back of the dress. Thankfully it is on the back where I don't see it. This is an issue only because I avoid wearing clothes with manufacturer logos. I'm 5ft 4in tall, 130 lbs, athletic build & a bit busty. I ordered medium. Plenty of room in the bust & hips without being too big anywhere else.I had previously purchased this dress in all black from Macy’s (size large). Size was perfect so I expected this one to be the same. When I finally put it on this summer…it seemed to be smaller. It was too snug to wear out & about and feel confident. I tried the black one back on just to make sure it/compare again, and it fit perfectly. I wouldn’t say the flowered one fit as a “medium” - it wasn’t THAT much smaller - just seemed to cling in places I didn’t want it to whereas the black one didn’t do that. Perhaps if I wear shape wear or lose about 5 pounds it will get worn.This lightweight, comfortable dress is perfect for the steamy weather in south Florida. It wicks moisture, dries quickly and is cooler to wear than a tee shirt and shorts. The straps are wide enough to cover bra straps. I get compliments on it and just ordered a second one!Con: The material is quite thin and loses color when stretched out (like on the chest area.)Unforgiving in stomach area.Pros: Light and cool. Very cute with a light denim jacket. It does not wrinkle. I received many compliments when I wore it.No problems with the dress it is very nice and comfortable to wearI have another Columbia dress that I wear whenever it's really hot as it's super comfortable during the summer. So I ordered this thinking it would be just as comfortable and was happy to try another style. It's just not near as flattering or as comfortable. Also, something about black for a summer dress just isn't as summery. I ended up returning. The one I already own has a looser drape and more of a boatneck neckline. When I wear it everyone is surprised it's Columbia. This one looked like something you'd wear after getting out of a pool - that kind of material - even though I'm sure they are the same fabric. Just no where near as flattering.For me, I prefer a summery pattern. Sent it back.Perfect for tropical vacation! I wore this everyday, usually over my swimsuit heading to the beach, put it on in the morning, on and off all day as needed for coverup never wrinkled stayed fresh smelling fit perfectly! Love it!Ordered black XL & so happy with it, I actually wear it backwards lol, the neckline is slightly lower that way (been wearing it in the sun with my kiddies & didn't want weird tan lines) It's super comfortable & very flattering, even though it's black it's not hot at all!
