Designed with an active fit to facilitate mobility, this waterproof-breathable pant is critically seam sealed to lock the elements out so you stay dry and protected during outdoor active adventures in wet, cold-weather conditions.
I am very surprised at how well these fit. I never thought I could order ski pants online that actually fit. I have skied for many years and have tried on a lot of ski pants. It's not unusual to have to go up two sizes above my normal size to get pants that fit. You don't have to do that with these, in fact, they may run slightly big.Not only are these made for normal women, these are made extremely well. There's nothing cheap about them and I love that you can adjust the waist so it fits snugly. And, the waist is a normal rise waist so that snow and wind cannot find their way down the back of the pants. The worst idea I ever saw was low rise ski pants!I bought the pink color and is VERY, VERY bright. At least my husband won't complain about having trouble finding me on the ski slopes. I usually have black ski pants and if I wear my black jacket and black helmet I look like most everybody else from the back (and probably the front) at a distance. He'll probably be able to find me in a blizzard of the century! These are terrific and fit me right out of the box. I prefer stretch pants, but I waited too late into the ski season to find any that I think could fit. I am very happy! The only issue I have really is with Columbia Sportswear. I could not buy the whole ski suit from one seller; so I pieced together the items I wanted from several different places. I picked a certain color and selected the same color by Columbia Sportswear; when the pieces arrived, I was disappointed to see there was a difference in the shades of the items. I called Columbia Sportswear to see if I could get the dye lot numbers so I could match up the colors a little better. Regrettably the person I spoke to informed me that he had no such information; and that is just the way the colors come out during mixing. I can only assume that the dye lot is not as specific when they are made. After much thought I have decided to keep and wear the suit anyway; at least I will look good falling down the mountain with “sticks” on my feet…… ha…ha….lol.I am a true 22W. I ordered the 2X. While they fit, I thought they were just a little snug at the waist and I didn't think I would even be able to squeeze a pair of silk long johns underneath. I returned them and got a size up and the fit is great. I now have a little wiggle room and the tabs inside snug them up. The legs are wide at the bottom. I am hoping the built in gater will hold the snow back. Although the gaiter could be a little snugger. I will test this tomorrow on my first snowshoeing adventure. Other than that, I think the quality is very good.I LOVE THESE PANTS. I do a lot of online shopping and go a little crazy researching before making purchases over $50, so I looked into every snow pant in my price range possible. I tried some on in the store and none really seemed to fit, but I finally came across these on Amazon and saw so many good reviews and loved the aqua color and decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did, they fit is perfect all around and the materials are awesome! It really feels high quality and the insulation is sooo comfy. The color is aqua color is a little darker than pictured but it's so pretty! I haven't tried the pants out yet but I'm hitting the slopes this weekend an I'm excited to see how they do! I definitely recommend these pants :)I bought these for my daughter who wears a 4 short pant usually, she is 5'3" and 120 lbs. These are a little baggy and I wish they were about an inch longer, but they will be fine. They actually fit her almost exactly as the model picture shows, but a little looser through the hip and waist. I wouldn't buy them if you are taller than her. If you are a little heavier, there is plenty of room. Definitely much larger than other brands, we tried a small Burton pant and it was snug, big difference in size/cut, especially through the thighs. These fit a curvy build great. These pants are nice and long. I am a 6 foot tall female and they are just right in length when wearing boots. However-the hips and thighs on these pants are ridiculous. There is so much extra fabric, I don't think the designers know what women look like. Granted I don't have big hips or a butt but it is still overkill. I was going to return them for a smaller size (they are to big in waist as well) but did not want to go through the return hassle. the elastic adjusters on the inside tighten up the waist and I just try to wear a long hoody with them to push in the extra fabric. I am thinking about having someone take them in for me. Another plus is that they keep you toasty warm. It has been in the -20s with windchill here in MI and these are warm enough with just leggings under them.I haven't had ski/snow pants since I was a kid, so I read tons of reviews before purchasing. I ordered both medium and large after reading the reviews about the sizing being off (running large), and I found that the large were more comfy for me (5' 6", 145 lbs). The large fit easily with yoga pants underneath and still allowed me to bend at the knees. There is a velcro strap in the waist that you can tighten to secure the pants if the waist is a bit large. The kept me warm and dry without weighing them down. Love the color and would def recommend these pants. The pants do run a little big if your waist is a 24-27 I would go with the XS. My daughter's is a 26 and we bought the small and we thought we were in trouble because she could pull them down without unbuttoning them, but thank goodness for the adjusting tabs. She had a pretty good gap but we needed them ASAP or we would have sent them back for the XS if we had time. She wore them in Red River, NM skiing and she said they were very warm and would recommend them for sure, but make sure you order in advance just incase you need a different size.I am 5ft tall and therefore finding short ski pants was not easy, I had resulted to buy kids pants which is perfect length, however slightly on the tight side around thighs....I finally found this Columbia short pant I love it! I wear these for snowboarding so though it's slightly longer (I need to turn these pants up an inch when walking around these with my snow boots) it's no bother cos they're tucked in my binding. The colour is also rich and the padding keeps me warm and waterproof. Very satisfied with this.Thicker than I thought but they were for a trip up to the North of Scotland in Feb so they actually worked a treat. Lots of adjustable bits to suit whatever you want to wear with themI bought these for my mum, she is 5ft 3 and a size 8. They are a perfect length and fit for her. Quality is good and she loves the colour. A great purchase.Schöne auffällige Farbe, jedoch sagt mir persönlich der Schnitt gar nicht zu.Viel zu großer Schlag unten... daher zurück !One seam was broken, therefore the quality and product control are not the best in the world. Otherwise very nice exceptional color.
