Ok. First, real men wear pink. My husband originally loved this shirt and it looked great on him. I originally ordered the large but it was too big. Kept it anyway and ordered a medium. Medium fit much better. I find Columbia brand runs large. We loved the color and my husband has lots of Boneheads in different colors. However, after the first wash in cold water ( both shirts), I think the black and white loop string under pocket faded color onto the shirts and I was never able to get it out. After we received our order (at different times), I sent shirts to cleaners. No problem. When I washed at home (in cold water only) I believe the loop string bled into material. Both shirts! Ruined. I didn't have this problem with any other color so I'm not sure what the deal is. It WAS husband's favorite shirt. Now has two that can only be worn around house or fishing. Not what we bought them for. If you can only wear the shirt around the house I would rather save money and he can throw on a t-shirt. Won't be buying this color again. I recommend taking this shirt to the cleaners only. Perhaps we got a defective product but I find it hard to believe it happened to both shirts. And before you question my washing methods - wait! I'm a stickler for following label instructions: washing darks with darks; whites with whites. We love Columbia products. Just staying away from shirts that have the loop. Has to be the issue. Other than that, we'd have given this shirt five stars. Nope. It's a bonehead alright, and not in the good Columbia way.Due to the nature of my work I'm always in search of cotton attire. Shirts and socks primarily. It's well made so it's on the heavier side but it's 100% cotton so I'll take it. It stands up to the rigor of my work. From carrying steel rebar, shoveling concrete, and carrying lumber are just the half. The breath abilities of this shirt keeps me cool in these Florida summers, so even though it's a little heavier I can still get some air. I understand many would go for a specific construction industry type product or those who make clothes specific for tradesmen, I find this shirt does the job well enough. From drywall to painting as well, plus it give a professional look. It's definitely a wide cut so a size smaller wouldn't hurt. If you have a slim/athletic build maybe two sizes. Other than that I'm very pleased with this product. The quality seems good, and they look well made...but, the sizing IS TERRIBLE! I am a solid Lg. with a half dozen similar brands and style shirts, a perfect Large. These are AT LEAST one size too big, perhaps even two. The shoulder seems hung down 2-3" below where a Lg. would normally fit me and the shirt tail length is ridiculous. What is wrong with these companies QC process? I got a pair of shorts that were supposed to be 32s and they two sizes too small, a 30" waist. 32" is 32" anywhere in the world, What the heck? Same with the shirts, should ALL be the same size. Now I have the complete hassle of finding a new container, repacking and finding a UPS to return them. This keeps happening on Amazon, Why can't the manufacturers get it right??? One item from the same brand is made in one country and the exact same item made in another country but don't even come close to the same fit...Over it and yet another return, thanks Amazon...GET IT RIGHT
