A little see through if you get them wet, but not when dry. They work well for beach shorts and fishing. Light weight and dry pretty quickly.I LOVE COLUMBIA! These are a comfortable material that is different from the normal Columbia line of quick drying stuff. These have been some of my go to vacation shorts because they are comfortable but look nice as well.Love these shorts! Wish they had lots more colors.Nice to find shorts that aren't too long and not too short ...these are perfect!
