Very light and comfortable in hot sun. Does a great job of protecting from sunburn. Dries fairly quickly. I do not recommend this if you want to stay warm. I had it on during a chilly day and I felt like I had no shirt on.Great shirt, very comfortable in many conditions - kept me a little warmer in the evenings in the desert, after keeping me cool and protected from the sun all day. Have worn it under a t-shirt and over, and it works well either way. Seems like a good choice for just about all uses, but have not had a chance to see well it handles being really damp or wet, from sweat or rain/rapids, etc.I have the green and the white, and both are great - white seems to clean up very well, so didn't end up stained from being sweaty in the red sand and dust around Moab. Cleaned right up.Good product. SUPER thin and light weight. Perfect protection from the sun. The arms are a little baggy and have a little give. If you have bigger arms it might be a great fit for you.Is wicking and cool for Summer, but long sleeves keep insects away. Hood and sleeves also acts as protection for sun so can avoid need to slather in sunblock. This is great in San Diego, where the sun is fairly strong.
