This is a great little coat, especially for the money!! I didn't even realize it was reversible. My son is 6.5 and 48 pounds. The small fit him perfectly. There is room for him to wear it for this mild winter and for sure for next year as well. I like the reversible side even better than the real side!! It is warm enough to wear in 40 degree weather! I bought the bigger jacket to go with it, and figured I can add it to it for extra warmth. I would buy this again for sure once he grows out of this size. I don't think this is a good winter coat - but more for mild winters or to wear with another jacket to layer. If your child runs hot, then it may be ok, but once it hits freezing, I doubt it would be good for winter wear. Overall, the quality for the price is amazing. Great cot.
