I bought these not for snow boarding but to wear to the Super Bowl back when everyone still thought it was going to be played in a near blizzard. I wanted something water and snow proof but not heavily insulated like my regualr ski pants are. I was really happy with them. The fit was as expected and I wore them over a pair of thermals and jeans with no issues. The pockets are all deep and fully zippered, the back pocket with a velcro flap over the zipper. Inside is a liner that you can put into your boots for an extra barrier to snow getting inside. They were comfortable, moved well, waterproof, and looked good too. I'll use them next time I go to the slopes depending on the temps as an alternative to a thicker insulated pant. I'd recommend to a friend.My son wears a 34x32 pant. He is 14 but the size of an adult. I ordered an extra large thinking large would be too snug with layers underneath.a large probably would have worked but these were fine. The best part is they have adjustable waist so they just tighten up nicely. He will be able to wear these for several years. He wore them snowmobiling in 18 degree weather, no complaints. They kept him warm and dry and gators at bottom to keep snow out.
