I was so appreciative bc we were going to Alaska and I am super cold natured… This jacket is both water AND windproof!!! I wore it while whale watching on a boat and couldn’t feel a thing!!!Lightweight and completely blocks wind!!!Great rain jacket that is highly recommended by review sites such as Wirecutter. The cookie is beautiful and the dark side panels give it a very svelte look. Sadly, I found it to be a little tight through the hips, so if you are slightly curvy at all, this might not be the jacket for you. Sizing up made the sleeves like absurdly long. I ended up returning this in M, L, XL, because it never quite fit right. (Also note you might find a better price at the Columbia site.)I did quite abit of research before I bought this. Wanted to make sure it wouldn't get wet inside when we had torrential rains. I read review after review until I saw this. Just perfect. Folds up easy, doesn't wrinkle. Material is soft. Color perfect. Love it.Bought this raincoat coat for trip to Ireland. Needed it for a day of rainy weather and it was great!I love the product. Just ran a little smallKept me dry and warm during a boat cruise in Seward, AK of Resurrection Bay and a hike in Kenai Fjords National Park. Rained all day the 2 days I was in Seward and inner layers stayed nice and dry. Got 2 sizes too big, and I'm glad I did because when riding the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail in Anchorage in pouring rain on Day 3, I was able to put my backpack underneath and still zip it up. Worked perfectly.Love the color, bright pink and grey. Perfect fit. Just what I was looking for!My daughter loves a rain jacketI'm a big girl (235 lbs) and Columbia jackets normally fit very small for me so based on sizing chart and other reviews, I went with a 3X. It's very large though, even when layered with another jacket underneath. I wouldn't mind it a little big, but it is wider at the bottom so it has an unflattering tent-like shape for those of us who aren't blessed with a big booty. I will probably return for 2X, or even 1X.Nice quality, comfortable, lightweight rain jacket that fits a larger woman with boobs!XXL is a comfortable fit on me with room for a couple of thin layers underneath, and I'm a UK 20 on top with broad shoulders and big boobs.Nice big zip pockets (fits iPhone 12 Pro Max) adjustable cuffs, cinchable hood.Highly recommended.Just received today via addresspal to Ireland. Where to start - I ordered 3x based on 1st review on the page since lady there ordered 3x and she has the same height and weight. Well packed, light, fully mesh lined inside. The downside - I ordered this jacket based on my research and I was led to believe that the jacket has underarm vents. Imagine my disappointment that was not the case. The fit of the jacket - larger, loose, the length is great, just under my bottom so it covers my critical area - belly. However, I believe, I would be fine even with 2x as it is my size. I am UK 22-24. I still haven't decided if I'll return it and order a different style or not. Great material, the hood is great with an extra shield so it covers my cap. Perfect for Irish weather . I haven't tested the jacket in the rain so we'll see how it hold up. Update will follow along with picturesFits well and looks great, well made for the money paid. My few gripes are that it lacks a couple of features, like hood volume adjustment, usually done with a velcro strap on the top. There are no inside pockets like I had on my Jack Wolfskin packable, just a vertical drop pocket for papers etc to keep them dry would be good. Otherwise it feels very comfortable and gives a smart professional appearance in Columbia blue.Ordered both the Columbia and North-Face rain jackets. I love the Columbia because it fits a bit bigger no problems adding a sweater/ hoodie underneath for an extra layer. It’s a bit longer than the north face which is great for me as I’m 5’9 and most medium sized clothes are short and boxy instead of long and lean. Over all the Columbia is more comfortable but the North Face has a neck layer which keeps you warmer than the Columbia. Happy with both.
