This Columbia jacket in red is very nice. I would have given it 5 stars if they had used white down for the filler, but they used white & dark down and the dark down shows through the red and makes it look like the jacket is dirty all over (this will be not be an issue for darker-colored jackets, but beware for lighter colors). Jacket is very warm and very lightweight, and fits very well.For years, I have shied away from down outerwear because of its horrible performance when wet. I still wouldn't want to trust this one without a waterproof shell in blizzard conditions, but it does its job very well in temperatures in the low teens. The heat-reflective liner magnifies the insulating effects of the down fill, and the outer shell has blocked all of the wind I have had the courage to get out into. For the price, it is a remarkable buy. If I had it to do over again, I might spend a few extra dollars and get the one with the hood.I’m glad I went one size up, I’m usually right between XL and XXL, this one seems to run a bit small so I would recommend going with the larger if you’re on the fence. But definitely buy this coat, I bought it and the weather immediately warmed up – I don’t even have to wear it!I’m satisfied with the jacket I received. This was exactly I wanted. I love the color and the design. The size is the only thing that made me doubt...I got M but It could be S, I don’t know because I haven’t try this design before. Although the shipping wasn’t free, the delivery time compensate that, it was really fast. I truly recommend this vendor!could have been a little better insulated but very comfortable. If you are large, however, three could be a Bib the Michelin mMan effect.Seemed to run a bit large for the size. It wasn't as warm as I was expecting. The color was good and the quality seemed to be nice. Just not as warm as expected for days those blistery cold days under 20 degrees.Excellent jacket. Kept me warm when temps dipped below 0, (but you will bake if you wear it inside). Light not a heavy feel, easy to drive in. Able to fold it up easily and pack for travel.This is the warmest coat I've ever had. It is very light weight and you would never think it would keep you warm. I love it.I rate it a five star for sure. Great coat.This jacket has a great cut and made of very good materials.I recommend it to everyone.It is great.Nice and warm jacket. Use it on cold days. Some problems with the zipper for the pocket. It fasten now and then.
