I got a great deal on this jacket so I am happy with my purchase overall. Pros: The color is beautiful and bright (I won't get lost on the mountain wearing this!), the sleeves have hand warmers attached, the interior has a zippered pocket for phone and a mesh pocket for goggles, the collar comes up nice and high and the hood is well-shaped so it really keeps the cold out. There's also a nice little pocket on the arm to hold electronic lift ticket. Cons: The fit is a bit weird - does not seem like normal Columbia fit. I bought this a size larger than my usual Columbia size because I wanted it to be loose over my other layers. It is loose, but the jacket is kind of boxy and short. I'm 5'2" and the jacket barely hits at my hip. The snow skirt - a nice feature - is too high up to be really useful. While the jacket body is short, the sleeves are long - they're maybe 4" longer than I need, so there's some bunching on the arms. For an expensive jacket, I was surprised that there aren't air vents at the underarms. I think I'm pretty normally proportioned, but this jacket would work best for someone who has a short torso and long arms. Especially on the mountain, I really like a slightly longer jacket to keep the snow out.Great spring skiing jacket. All the features I wanted except the hood wouldn't fit with a helmet on when he jacket was zipped all the way up. Had to open the zipper at the next if I wanted to wear my hood but, if I recall, the hood wasn't advertised as a helmet hood so that was my fault. Loved the fabric and color and the OmniHeat really works!Fit as expected, color is great! Only complaint is that it doesn’t have a two way zipper (like other Columbia coats I’ve had in the past). Sits close to your body- so be sure to measure before ordering!Very nice jacket and the color is pretty. The radiant warmth worked very well.
