I got these pants for an internship I did this summer that was mostly outdoors with birds and required me to move around comfortable but still look professional. When I got them they looked almost closer to a slate gray, with a TINY hint of blue, rather than pure khaki. The pockets in the front were nice and large, perfect for my cell-phone, facility keys, tools, etc. I liked the feature of being able to roll up the pant leg to make them capris, too. At my internship, I got a lot of compliments on them from co-workers and they were very easy to wash the toughest of moss/grass or bird poo stains. As for the fit, I am 5' 11" and weigh ~165 lbs and got these in a size 10R. When I first tried them on I was worried that they would be too small in the thighs because it felt very tight there; there is a seam that goes right across your quad that I think felt initially a little strange but the pants stretched out a bit after wearing them and I got used to it. Squatting in these wasn't a problem with that seam but the biggest problem I had was the pants keeping their size, if that makes sense? Like I said at first, they are small coming out of the dryer or when I first put them on, but after wearing them for a full 8 hour work day, they were much looser and often looked baggy in the back. To keep from looking like I was sagging in my pants, I had to hike up my pants almost past my belly button and use the tightest hole on my belt. Now, I often have this problem with some pants like denim jeans, because I've long legs with a 40" hip diameter so it can be hard to balance pant length with the size of the booty area as well. I liked the capri feature so much because without it these pants were very 'high water' on me with regular tennis shoes. With that said, I still enjoy the pants. After my internship, I have used them camping, rock climbing, and backpacking along with everyday use and they work great. I just have to wash them frequently to keep them from looking too baggy on me after a few wears.
