This product was for my two year old son, I wanted it to last for a while so I got a size 3 which was a little big but was still wearable. This jacket is very durable and very well-made. I have not encountered any loose stitching nor any problems with the zipper. It is good for all types of weather, except heavy snow and heavy rain. It is light, and even zips up to the face so that the neck is covered and just the face is exposed. It is also very fashionable to wear! It looks absolutely adorable And I get compliments on it quite often. It can be worn by both boys and girls since it is black, so when my son grows out of it, I am handing it down to my daughter. It was definitely worth what it cost. He where is this jacket everywhere, when we go out on a chilly night, and we go to the beach, when we are out in the yard and there’s a little rain, Etc. (we live in Southern California)Love it! My 20 month old always asks for "purple jacket" in the morning. I got this because I didn't like having to change her out of the puffy coat before putting her in the carseat, and then worrying that she would get cold before the car warmed up. This jacket is thin enough to be worn safely in a carseat, but also warm enough for outside play in a mid-Atlantic winter. Unlike most jackets we've tried, this hood actually stays up while she's playing outside which is great. I sized up slightly (got a 3T for my daughter who normally wears 2T) and I would say it fits as expected - there's a little room to grow, but it still fits her well. I'm hoping it will still fit next year, but if I have to spend another $33 next winter so be it!However, it fits rather narrow through the body AND does *not* repel water. My son wore this recently when it rained and I thought he'd be fine with it (and an umbrella) but he ended up getting wet and it went right through the fabric. :( But the blue/yellow colors are really beautiful and vibrant. I would say you have to wear a rather slim fitting shirt under it. Don't think a bulky sweater will be comfortable as the jacket is too narrow in the body.This is a great quality coat - keeps our son warm even in the cold Chicago winter. Definitely order a size or two larger than you would expect. I bought this for our son who was 18-months old at the time - after reading the reviews I ordered a few sizes up so that he could wear layers underneath and grow into it and be able to use it for a while. We got a 3T and it was a tiny bit too big at first, but fits him perfectly now a couple months later. He is not a huge kid - a little tall for his age but I wouldn't expect a 3T to fit him so well. The sizing is a bit off, but we still love the coat.The coat came quickly, but it was worn with a name written on both tags with permanent marker. Needless to say I contacted Amazon. They had it picked up and dropped off the new one within two days. It is a little long in the sleeves but otherwise fits great. I wasn't sure if the size S would be right for my four year old - I'm happy with it. He's got plenty of room to grow. Our last Columbia kids' coat survived two boys and lasted almost five years. I really like this brand and will continue to buy.I ordered this quite a while ago but did not want to write a review until we'd used it for what it's made for. We live in Costa Rica and it's almost always 85F where we live. We bought this jacket for our tropical-blooded 5-year-old and he was toasty perfect our entire trip to Chicago -- yeah, freezin' windy Chicago!! Superb jacket. We layered of course, so that helped but this jacket was perfect b/c it's not at all bulky. So our son was very comfy yet toasty warm. Superb product.Fit-wise : It is for someone with a leaner torso. My child is tall and thin, thus it fits him well. If he is of average height and weight, this jacket will not fit him well.He complained that there are no zippers at the pockets. His phone kept falling out of it. Which also means that the pockets are not deep enough to accommodate a small phone.Overall, he is satisfied with this jacket which he uses on cold Fall & Spring days. Not sure how warm this jacket is for Winter. He has another coat for cold winter days.A little small. Hopefully this coat is as warm as it should be, being a Powder Lite Puffer Jacket. Doesn't really say how warm it should be. My grandson says it is warm, but not sure he is able to tell. We will decide later. I was hoping that it would fit for two years but I doubt that will happen. Otherwise very likable, handsome.tGreat jacket great company really keeps you warmLe compré a mi hijo de 4 años (102 cm, 16 kg) la talla xxs (la más pequeña) le quedó bastante grande.Sin embargo... nos encantó la chamarra porque:1) es calientita (objetivo principal para ambos)2) es ligerísima (otro punto indispensable para el usuario), por lo tanto no es estorbosa, aun siendo tan grande.3) funciona muy bien el cierre (en otras hay que batallarle)4) color naranja es super vibrante5) es tan amplia que le puedo poner otro sueter gordito abajo sin que se sienta limitado en movimiento - convirtiendo así el único con en pro...Tal y como había leido en los comentarios son un poco crecederos pero no es nada super importante. La talla 2XS comprada para un niño de 5 años es un poco larga de mangas. El precio es muy bueno.TODO CORRECTO. TAL Y COMO SE DESCRIBÍA EN LA WEB. PRENDA UTIL PARA USO NO INTENSIVO O URBANO. ABRIGA MÁS DE LO QUE PARECELo he comprado para mi sobrino esta Navidad. Está muy contento con su chaqueta, y dice que abriga bastante. Muy satisfecho!.
