I like the jacket. It really is nice but did they send me the wrong color? I thought Nightshade was going to be purple. They either sent me the wrong one or the monitor is waaaaay off on this one because what I got looks like a dark Royal Blue. Nothing like the photo. Anyway, I need it now so I'll keep it. My bust is 50" and the 3x leaves me plenty of room if I want to wear a bulky sweater. The sleeves may be a little tight for that but there's enough room in the body for it. Looks to be well made and soft and comfy. I'm going to spray it with water and see if some of the wrinkles will ease up.Really surprisingly warm. I bought this as a shell to go under my existing outer shell, but I've been wearing it alone - even in 0-degree Minnesota weather. It's really not worth putting on the other layer unless I'm doing a winter sport. For running between stores and school and such, this shell does the job all on its own. I like how high the collar is, so I can stay warm even when I skip the scarf. I do wish the fabric inside the pockets was smoother. The felt keeps catching on my dry winter skin hands, and it feels gross.I am going to keep this jacket, but I don't like it that much. I wish it was a little longer, it's not short, it's not long, it's just a weird length on me. I'm 5'10". If I use the thumbholes, the sleeves are too short and it's uncomfortable. There isn't a lot of room to move around in the shoulders for me. I buy up a size due to broad shoulders and back, and it wasn't enough this time. Usually I have plenty of room. I like the weight of the jacket and the dusty purple color is pretty and I think I got it for a good price.This coat is incredibly comfortable and surprisingly warm given it is so thin. I’ve been wearing it to work with just my uniform T-shirt underneath in 30 degree weather and been perfectly warm. There is room to add an extra layer when it gets colder. This is exactly why I wanted the thermal coil. The color is not as purple as it appears in the picture, but I didn’t really care that much about the color. It is still a very pretty color.love this jacketlove the thumb holes and hand cover. Not me.I'm toasty warm.So disappointed. I searched *everywhere* for a coat in my size (3x) that would be a lavender/purple color. I passed on many coats with good reviews that were less expensive but I really had my heart set on purple. I was thrilled to find this coat in nightshade. On the page it looks purple but in person, it is just a boring dark navy blue color. I understand that color is not the important thing in a coat but since I specifically paid more than I wanted to for a coat to get my favorite color, this was a huge disappointment. Will be returning or exchanging . Admittedly, the coat feels nice fabric wise. It is nice and light. I have cannot speak to its warmth since I have not worn it out . To bad. It is the perfect test time. I am in NH where we have had below 0 temps and brutal windchills for the past 2 weeks and a big snowstorm coming tomorrow.its warm but not fluffy. its warmer than my puffier coat i have. the only thing i dont like is the coat is shorter than i thoughtThis is the second time I bought this jacket as I needed a smaller size after losing weight. Love the warmth. The color though is really more like a wine color but I love it more than the color actually shown.
