I bought this jacket after seeing it in the store. They were out of my size in the color I wanted, so I came to amazon. Thankfully I was able to try it on beforehand, because this jacket runs WAAAYYYY small. I'm usually a x-small/small in clothing (34 bust, 28 waist) but even a medium is tight on me. It's a flattering fit, but I can't wear a really bulky sweater under it.That being said, I bought it for the color, which I'm in love with, Its gorgeous and I get so many compliments.I am 5'0" and weight 138lbs, I purchased a medium size and it fits PERFECT! its not to tight at all, you can have at least two thin layers of clothing underneath. I bought the coat for a 4 day backpacking trip, I will update my review when my trip is over.*UPDATE* this jacket is perfect for backpacking/camping. Backpacked Bishop Pass in CA, and I’m glad the jacket worked out well. It folds up small and compact. Lightweight and VERY WARM. Zippers are nice. Jacket has nice deep pockets. Love my jacket.It’s a great looking jacket and fits well. But. For a “Columbia brand” that’s supposed to be sporty and outdoorsy, it’s not super-fab. It seems to hold stains and look grungy super quickly, as well as body odor smells (& I’m not usually “smelly”). Also disappointing- not that it was advertised as waterproof, but I work it snow-skiing and it soaked up/ held water like a sponge!My only complaint is it is not warm enough for me. I can wear on a mid to upper 40 degree day with no wind. I have a large in this coat and it fits great. I am 5'8", 140 lbs. The arms are long enough for me and it's not too bulky looking. It is a cute and flattering coat. My best use of this coat is as a mid layer under my ski coat.Love Columbia’s Omni-heat products. This jacket is a classic example. However, the summary of the product on Amazon’s website specifically said it was a hooded jacket. No hood! I’m keeping the jacket but I feel like Amazon owes me a hood. BIG disappointment.The jacket is really nice and the color awesome.However, the size is too small for L (my usual size), I am disappointed and will have to return it.Whoever wants to purchase it, please note my comments, you will avoid an unnecessary return.The store that the Jacket came from was so nice to work with. The Jacket arrived ahead of time which was a nice surprise! The Jacket is great, very stylish and fits well! I am a Senior but it makes me look and feel younger.This is my second Columbia with Omniheat jacket. I like that it is lightweight, yet warm. It of course wouldn't do well in the arctic, but it's great for general wear. Additionally if you want more warmth, I like to layer with clothes.Super!Perfectly for me.La chaqueta esta bien es tal como se ve en la imagen, pero no me ha gustado porque se queda con una mancha negra solo con salpicarle el agua y me parece fatal y mas viniendo de una marca cara como columbiaRegalo de reyes y oiga! Acierto! le gusta mucho como le queda, no pesa nada, abriga un montón… desde entonces me quiere más y ha dejado de llevar el saco de patatas ese horrible que tenia como abrigo para ir a andar. Un acierto total!!Muy buena chaqueta a buen precio pero la devolví porque, a pesar de ser una L, a mi mujer no le venía. La hubiera cambiado por otra talla mas pero no habian, en este modelo la talla ma grande es una L.
