We love it for our baby. I would recommend buying it early and using it even if it is baddy for a while. It is not terribly stretchy in the upper shoulders where the wind breaker martial lays so it can get snug as baby grows. It was great to get us through the fall before we started using our winter bunting.Really nice quality coat. We are in Michigan so we use it for a spring coat. I doubt my son will fit in it this fall, but it would make a good fall coat as well. It is perfect for chilly mornings. Lightweight and not a lot of kids have similar coats, so easy for his teachers to differentiate which coat is his. It also has a spot to right your name on the inside panel of the jacket which is nice.I love these jackets! I use them all seasons and the make great jackets for in car seats because there warm and water proof without being bulky! They do run a little larger in size but I just roll up the sleeves and get longer use out of them. I’ve been buying these the last 3 years for both of my girls and was disappointed because they only make thesis style jack up to 4t. So I had to go with I different style when I moved up to little girls sizes!This is a very cute, very warm, car-seat-safe fleece. It's adorable and super cozy. That being said, it seems to run at least a full size small. I bought a 3T for my two-year-old, thinking it would leave him some growing room. I got it and put it on him and it fit, but then I held it up next to his previous jacket, a Columbia Pixel Grabber II in size 18-24 months, and they were the same length through the body. the Steens was cut a little wider and the sleeves were longer, but I wanted more coverage for the wind and the wet Northwest playgrounds, so I bought a size up. Now he has a 4T which leaves some growing room, but certainly isn't huge.That being said, I would definitely buy it again. (And probably will!)Fits a little bit but that’s perfectly fine because I can fit a sweater underneath it.Arms are a little stiff so my son moved kind of like a gi jo but at least he was warm.My son wore this is the rain and it kept him dry.My son is 4 months old and weighs 17 lbs, 26ish inches tallI love Columbia baby products. This jacket is great, it's warm and zips easily. The colors are vibrant and the material is extra soft. The hood is oversized and lays over his head with lots of room. He doesn't seem to notice it so he's not tempted to pull it off. The one con is that these run small. My son is an average sized 14 month old. I purchased the 18-24 month and it fits snug. He won't get another winter out of it. The sleeves are very long but I just roll them. He would not be able to wear a sweater or anything thick under this.
