I am 5'2" and 160, I purchased a size Large hoping I could fit a hoodie under it when it gets a lot colder and it fits perfect. It is super light weight and comfortable. I have worn it in the pouring rain/wind at about 45 degrees with just my work clothes under and was very warm and dry. I really like the bands at the wrist, they are comfortable and keep the cold air from going up your sleeves. As you know, ladies work-wear is very thin so I am confident this will be just what I needed for the winter stacked with a few more layers (it stays in the 30's here in winter). The hood has a Velcro adjuster on it so the fur can stay our of your face if you wear a pony tail or out. It also still looks really nice without the hood attached. Thought I LOVE the fur lined hood, but it's really nice that you have the option to take the entire hood off when you want to dress it down a bit. I'm very happy with my purchase.Great coat for the cold winter months. I love the color (not as dark as navy blue) and how light weight this coat is. It is warm without being bulky. Most puffer coats make me feel like a linebacker, but this one is nicely fitted with room for a sweater or sweatshirt under in really cold weather. I also really like the inner cuffs of the sleeves to prevent draftiness and keep the sleeves long enough (which also seems to be a problem for me with a lot of coats) . The only thing that I wanted was to be able to remove the faux fir trim around the hood as I'm not a huge fan of it in general, but it definitely wasn't a deal breaker since the hood is removeable. Such a great, quality winter coat at a great price!I just didn't like the fit of this coat. It's large and poofs up a lot at the top/bust, and narrower at the bottom/hips. Also, every time I raised and lowered my arms, the coat would stay bunched up around my chest and I'd have to tug it back down into place at the bottom. Made me look like a body builder. Very unflattering look for a woman's coat!For what it's worth, the coat is very good quality, well made, cozy & warm. I love the Bluebell color and the fur-trimmed hood. I'm sure that if it had fit properly I would have been very happy with this coat (especially for the price it's being sold for here on Amazon). Unfortunately I had to return it and look elsewhere.I am a size 6, 5'7, 147 pounds. Size M was a perfect fit (I will be able to wear a couple of layers underneath). Things I didn't like: faux trim, ziper looks cheap, nylon interior.The jacket looks great but I will only wear it in January in Europe (I'm from Brazil and it's almost summer here now). So I can't tell if it will be warm enough. It doesn't look like it will, I hope I'm wrong!Warm and the hood is nice for keeping wind and snow away. It washes nice and the Velcro on the front is nice should the zipper fail or just to have it close quick. I was hoping it would be a little more pinker in color than red though.Keeps you warm and cozy. I live in Buffalo, NY so you can imagine how awesome this snow jacket it. Very comfortable.Except for being a bit small, this worked great for my daughter. Not a whole lot of room for layering but she stayed warm during our vacation in Alaska over Christmas. Skiing and snowy weather and all was good!My wife loves the jacket. The only issue is the zipper is difficult to zip. That's the only issue. With a better zipper five stars for sure.
