Pros:- Warm- Cozy and Comfortable- Comparable to a Women's Benton Springs Fleece Jacket- Very durableCons:- Not 100% protectant against winds- No drawstrings or elastic wrist bands (thought not a problem for me)- Runs a little largeAbsolutely Amazing. This fleece jacket deserves two thumbs up, 10 stars out of 5, and an A+ with a few golden stars. Over the years, I have just been wearing random jackets/hoodies/sweaters during the winter, in hopes of finding something that could keep me warm without having to wear and lug around my bulky winter coats. And now, I finally did it! I can walk all over campus without facing harsh coldness. This jacket is so warm and comfy that I usually keep it on during class as well. I have a Columbia Women's Benton Springs Fleece in Small and was looking to buy another in an XS size (the jackets run a little large/meant to be top layer). Somehow I found the Columbia Girl's fleece jackets, and I originally ordered the 14/16 size because I thought it would be comparable to a Women's XS size. When I measured the two jackets, they are actually the same size! The only difference in the two is that the Girl's fleece jacket doesn't have a drawcord and the wrist part of the sleeves are not sewn with an elastic. There is also a "Nametag" on the interior, with spaces to write a name and phone number. However - I do not find these differences to be bothersome. In conclusion: I really love this jacket. I am planning to buy to more jackets to come, and hopefully have a closet full of a rainbow of Columbia fleece jackets. I will most likely order the same size (14/16.) These are definitely a winter essential, and can be worn as a layering piece, or as a form fitted jacket (size down one.) The shape of this Girl's jacket is the exactly the same as a Women's jacket. So I can get almost the exact same jacket for a lower price. Plus, if I ever forget my jacket anywhere, it might it's way back to me because I had my name and phone number written in it! Haha. This is definitely a great jacket, with a great deal. You won't regret buying it.For measurement purposes:Size bought: 14/16Bust: 32"Waist: 25"Hips: 31"Height: 5ft3.5inWeight: 105lbI bought a small (7/8) for my 5 soon to be 6 year old daughter. She currently wears a 6/6X in everything perfectly. I bought the small for her because I wanted her to have room to grow into. I'm very happy with the sizing. This is her favorite jacket. I bought her one last year and when she outgrew hers she demanded that I buy her another one. She never asks me to buy her any clothes, except this jacket. This is the perfect go to jacket. This jacket can be worn all year long. My only complaint is that I wish this jacket came in more neutral solid colors. My daughter loves purple so it works out for her but I would love to buy a solid grey or beige one too for her. If they had more neutral colors I would buy her more of this jacket. This jacket is soft and comfortable. Easy to take on and easy to take off with perfect little pocket for her hands. I love pretty much everything Columbia, and this jacket doesn't fail to disappoint. I will buy her this exact same jacket when she outgrows the medium.Great, warm fleece! The purple lotus color was exactly as pictured. This jacket is perfect for the colder fall and cool winter days (would block wind pretty well). We wanted a jacket that would suit most of our needs through these seasons (we are in SE VA where most winter days you can get away with a heavier fleece) and one that didn't interfere with the car seat straps. This works great. I read the other reviews about how small the wrist and/or sleeves can be, so we bought a size up. My tall, average weight 16 month old is now wearing 24 month clothing (usually a bit big, but 18 months is too short), so we bought a 2T. I'm glad we did- the length was great (not too long it's ridiculous- I suspect this will last her at least through spring) and the sleeves are narrow, but they fit fine over clothing. I can get my fingers up the sleeves to pull down her clothing sleeves- probably will be more difficult with bulkier sweaters. The nice thing about having the tighter wrists (at least right now) is that even though the sleeves are a little long on her now, they stay up without me having to fold them back.Let me start by saying I am a 5'3" 116lb 30 year old. I wear a small in the Columbia Fast Trek II women's fleece, but didn't want to spend $40-$50 on those. I checked the sizing measurements with this one and compared it to the Fast Trek II and it was the same range. I purchased this "Big Girls Benton Springs" fleece in XL and if anything, it is a little loose! Women's Fast Trek II is definitely more figure-flattering than this, but I wasn't looking for a flattering style, just one that would fit. My only compaint about this one is the color. I thought it would have been a deeper pink. However, it is HOT PINK! I wasn't expecting something this bright, but I will still wear it! It was only $15. Great deal. Will purchase more in the future! The jacket is cute BUT it is short. Maybe my daughter is just tall but she's not that tall. The jacket is a perfect length in the arms. Just enough material to cover when she reaches for something but not so much that they will fall down her hands. The body of the jacket falls right at her waist line and no more. Any shirt she has on will stick out of the bottom and it's not elastic so cold air can go up the jacket. I would have sent it back and gotten a bigger size but I knew the sleeves would have been too long then.
