Columbia Girls' Alpine Action II Waterproof Winter Jacket - Insulated Snow Coat for Skiing, Hiking & Outdoor Adventures

Was looking for a ski jacket for my daughter on Amazon, and she picked this one from four different finalists. Glad she chose this one, as it is an excellent youth ski jacket. Took a chance on the size, and the medium fits her 4'8" athletic build frame perfectly. A large would have hung to low and been a sloppy fit. She can layer this jacket with a turtleneck and thin zip up coat underneath. This jacket is super light weight and very flexible for ease of movement. Lastly, the purple color looks fantastic. Excellent choice!!Bought for my 11 year old daughter to use in a Minnesota winter. She stays very warm in it and never complains of getting cold. She had a chance to go outside and make a snowman in it during a really wet snow and stayed totally dry & warm. I’d say it’s true to size. I’d purchase this coat again!We tried 4 different coats, this one fit our 2.5 year old the best. The hood has Velcro to adjust fit and the interior is heat reflective. We got size 4 but she is pretty tall for her age. It's also very nice looking. We get compliments on how it looks.Warm, sturdy and grows with the child. I will not buy anything else!Great pants however had to return S and buy M.Muy a brigadaCute! Fits well, But not warm enough for WI winters. I had to buy an additional liner.Great jacket!! Fits my 7 year old great!!
