Bought a XXL, that is my usual size in most things, too big, needed to send them back to get next size down.I really liked the material that these shorts are made out of, but not too sure what they were thinking as far as the waistband goes. I am not a little guy and the waistband on these shorts is half stretchy stuff (I like it but it only goes half-way, around the back), and then in the front is like a shoe-lace to tie them in front. But because the "shoe-lace" style cinching in the front gets sewn into the rear waistband and it just ends half-way it is problematic for me. The rope only goes half-way. This causes you to never be able to tie them tight enough. And then I tried to tighten them a little too much and the shoe-lace ripped out of the shorts making them pretty much worthless. And I really like how these shorts wear and feel... I just can't wear them comfortable when they are around my ankles. Columbia, if you are reading this, make it one or the other... but don't do half of one and half of the other. I LOVE YOUR CLOTHES and I even love these shorts... the wasteband just didn't work for me though.Second pair for my husband. My son recommended them to my husband as the most comfortable short ever. My husband loves them. Easy care. Wash and wear!!I wore these shorts 5 times. The stitching was coming off everywhere on the waist. Then yesterday the drawstring pops off as it doesn’t go around the shorts but is stitches to a piece of fabric. It rendors the shorts useless and had to be thrown away.Perfect fitDelivered with stitching missing and loose and even pulled apart on the hem. How does this happen? Taking a chance on a replacement and will return originals.The size chart not correct , it says XL is 34 inches, i got XL and it is far more than 36 inchesIt was too big , i asked to refund and i will get Large size insteadIt is perfect material and finish , the pockets very cool i like it
