This is easily the best shoe I have ever owned. They are super comfortable (fit exactly as expected), and have great traction, making them ideal for long walks, hikes, and even a little climbing. Two days after I received them they got a surprise baptism in the Boston harbor during some kayaking. Though they can easily handle a rain or mud, in this case, they were completely submerged and soaked through. I was happy to find that after leaving them out overnight, they dried out perfectly and are as good as new. I have since been using these as my everyday shoes, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.Note: it seems like some folks have complained about the sizing. I can't speak for other shoe sizes, but the size 10 shoe fit the same as every other size 10 shoe I have worn.
